Vintage and Antique Carousels
Nothing makes one happier than a carousel or
merry-go-round. We have fond memories of our parents taking us for a ride on
the 1924 Dentzel carousel at the entrance to the pier
at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The carousel was lost to a fire on July 19, 1969.
This website primarily focuses on pre-1930, hand-carved,
wooden carousels in the United States and Canada which are home to over 100
classic carousels manufactured and carved by North America’s best artisans.
This website will continue to expand as we visit,
